Portugal-Macau-China Relation
The EEC reflected its last 30 years of European history. With her successes and failures, they corresponded to the crisis of a new form of independency and resulted in a new economic era for Europe and of course countries all over the world. Portugal since 1 January 1986 became one of the 12 members of the EEC and through this went global. Looking back, we could observe that in the last 5 decades, Europe has become the center of world trade. Whereas the People Republic of China has due to his Open-Door Policy in the last decade released her into the globe. Her economic revolution commenced in 1978 and it was through the new economic zone in the 80s that she began your economic and trade relations. We have of course shared your revolution victory, tasting your high-value added industrial increase as well as the charm of foreign investments. Presently, Portugal, being one of the members of the 9 planets in world trade namely the United States, Europe, Japan, Asia, Africa and other developing countries as South America, positioned herself successfully well in the world economic center, being a part of the EEC. Macau-a centre of western and oriental culture, throughout her 430 years of history, had continuously acting as the leader of western and eastern trade as well as an entrepot. Recent years she had through your special position expanded into the areas of industry, banking and tourism etc. Primarily, Macau geographically situated at the Pearl River Delta, neighbour of the Zhuhai Economic Zone as well as linking with Hong Kong and Canton into the golden economic zone, making Macau to be one of the highly developing district of China. The last but not the least, getting back to the womb of her mother, the People Republic of China in 1999, there would be supporting strategies from the China and New Macau Government for enterprises as well as free trade, providing investors with simple and reasonable tax system, enabling investors to set their basis at this low-cost production spot or jumping from her to China and the South-East Asia trade opportunities. One should realize the changes going on in the three linking doors - Portugal-China and Macau in the 2000s, absolutely joining the world business incredibly perfect and of course convenient!
